I had a short meeting at Labour's annual conference with the people from the Campaign to Strengthen the Hunting Act.
I fought for a ban on hunting wild animals with dogs in 1997 and 2001 and was relieved when Labour finally introduced the Hunting Act of 2004. Unfortunately as we all know, it has been continually flouted.
I have signed up to the campaign to tighten up the loopholes and hope you will join me.
David Cameron's Conservatives were planning a free vote to scrap the ban a few years ago but thankfully it hasn't happened yet.
