Have Your Say On Future School Admission Policy

I am often contacted by residents in Ingleby Barwick whose children have to travel across the estate to schools at least a few miles away when there is one on their doorstep they are not eligible to attend. It also adds to the problems of parents dropping their children off in cars and causing parking issues where really they would like to be able to walk to school.

I welcome Stockton Council’s review on Junior School places and urge all concerned parents to contribute their views

There is likely also to be controversy over plans to rethink Egglescliffe School catchment area and I urge you all to make your thoughts known.

As I knock on doors in the area, where I also live, I will be asking parents what they think and feeding that back in.
