Louise opens first of two Labour campaign centres

We spoke to 500 local residents yesterday on Labour and the Co-operative Party's national campaign day, with support from upwards of 50 volunteers.

Over the past 19 months we've had thousands of these conversations. Hearing your thoughts and views is central to our campaign.

I officially opened the first of our two campaign centres at Keld House on Allensway next to Thornaby Town Centre.

It will be open as a drop-in centre for residents to come and chat about what is important to you. Or you may want to come and get involved with the campaign. Our campaign hotline is 01642 909550 and details of our opening times will be available shortly.

We were back out on #labourdoorstep in Ingleby this afternoon where I met a slew of disaffected Lib Dems, particularly NHS workers.

I look forward to meeting many more residents before polling day on May 7th.
